The nomination submission contains a few areas by which the committee is looking for specific feedback from you, the student, as to what makes a faculty member exceptional. Other faculty and staff at the college can also nominate faculty for this award. The first few questions are specific to your experience as a student. There are several key factors listed for the first two questions, as well as open areas to expound and/or add additional factors. The committee is looking for as complete a picture as possible in evaluating all nominations - so include all you can think of when completing this form and provide descriptive examples of excellence from the criteria in each section listed below.
Note the strength of your nomination will greatly impact the likelihood of your nominee receiving the award. The committee will only have the evidence that you, as the nominator(s) provide(s), when considering the candidate, so provide as much detailed information as possible. For non-students there are two additional questions on your form to describe professional achievements and leadership for your nominee.
